Chicago Travel Show comes just in time

You figured out how and where to spend this past winter holiday but spring break, summer vacation and long weekends lie ahead.

Visit a country not yet seen? Head to a different part of the United States? Even if you stay in the Midwest, there are places on the someday list.

But before you are ready to parse out valuable vacation time and dollars you’d like more information and maybe some brochures.

The Chicago Travel & Adventure Show comes to Rosemont Jan. 28-29, 2012 with ideas on places to go, adventure equipment you might need and travel trends. As an example, if you have thought about a scuba diving class and adventure but not sure if it is for you, there will be a hands-on scuba experience.

Held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, the show also features 135 exhibitors and travel pros Samantha Brown who hosts the Travel channel’s Passport Series, Patricia Schultz, author of “1000 Places to See Before You Die” and Ralph Valesco, a travel photographer and author.
