ATE to Produce Pavilion at THETRADESHOW

Alexandria, VA., Jan. 12, 2006 – THETRADESHOW (Travel Retailing and Destination Expo) has developed another key travel industry partnership with the Adventures in Travel Expo, produced by Unicomm LLC.  The partnership will provide travel agents attending THETRADESHOW with more educational opportunities and access to a wider variety of suppliers and travel products.

Unicomm LLC will produce an  Adventures in Travel Pavilion at tHETRADESHOW in Orlando (Sept. 10-13, 2006). The pavilion at THETRADESHOW will be marketed as an additional stop on the Adventures in Travel Expo tour, which includes San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C. and Chicago. Unicomm’s vast experience in managing successful consumer shows will benefit THETRADESHOW by providing expertise in consumer marketing.

Unicomm, through its closely affiliated Adventure Council will also offer Adventure Travel seminar sessions and Adventure Travel Specialist Certification to trade participants at THETRADESHOW.

THETRADESHOW will take place the second week of September every year and will be held in Orlando (Sept. 10-13, 2006) in even years and Las Vegas (Sept. 9-12, 2007) in odd years. Travel sellers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with suppliers and to learn in-depth about their products. The three-day, industry-wide event will have two travel industry-only days and will feature a day of one-on-one business appointments. Additionally, one day will be designated to consumers, where both travel sellers and suppliers will have the opportunity to educate the consumer on their businesses and the best way to choose and organize their travel arrangements.  

The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA), Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA), ITB Berlin, National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA), National Tour Association (NTA), Travel Industry Association of America (TIA), The Travel Institute, U.S. Tour Operators Association (USTOA) and USA Today have signed on as partners of THETRADESHOW.
